Unused Power Plant Into Solar Farm

 In Hawkins County, Tennessee there is an unfinished power plant that hasn’t been in use since 1981. The power plant was only used for training until BirdsEye Renewable Energy in NC saw the possibilities of the land, and that was to turn it into a solar farm.BirdsEye President Brian Bednar said, “The site wasn’t ideal for commercial development, ‘so it seemed like a really nice fit to take something that was not in good use, and put it into better use.” We love that they are making use of this once unusable space with renewable energy.
