Ridgewell Fitness Grand Opening

Ridgewell Fitness is a local fitness center in Stone Ridge with big plans for the community. Not only are they partnering with us for a community solar array, but they are doing a lot of good locally. The fitness center is located on Main Street in Stone Ridge.

Michael Tumminia, the property owner, stated in Ridgewell’s Press Release, “The proposed plans include municipal parking spaces for the Town’s use, a rail trail to conveniently connect Stone Ridge to SUNY-Ulster by foot, a community playing field, and a community solar array. In partnering with local company Solar Generation, our goal is to power as much of Main Street as possible with renewable energy. The community solar array at Ridgewell Center would consist of rooftop solar panels on the building, several solar canopies, and a ground mount solar array that will be integrated into a grass and wildflower garden dubbed the Ridgewell Solar Garden. ” We are excited to be a part of this bigger plan Ridgewell Fitness has put in place.

Ridgewell is hosting a Grand Opening Event to the public on April 12th, which includes a ribbon cutting event and other festivities from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Teammates from Solar Generation will be there for anyone who’d like more information about going solar.
