When we formed SOLARgeneration in 2005, one of our goals was to bring solar to people, schools and organizations in our community whom otherwise couldn’t afford it. After a few years’ hard work and growth, and with the help of grants and private contributions, we’ve been able to donate systems throughout our local community and abroad, as close to home as Woodstock Day School and as far away as Tibet!
Over the years, we have also spent numerous hours in the classroom talking to students about energy, the sun, the environment, electricity, logo design, and basic engineering skills. Those moments when we see kids eyes light up with understanding make our jobs worthwhile.
